All the services were exceptional.

This was a fantastic stay in winter.

Overall lovely little hotel, I came here with my daughter. Location: the venue was short walk to COUNTRYSIDE AND MAJOR ATTRACTIONS IDEAL as well as a lovely pub.

The staff we met were not so helpful.

The hotel was clean and the location was unbeatable and brilliant to various places of interest. The staff were accommodating and the wake up service and ironing were free of charge. The service was fantastic in my opinion.

The room was warm and clean, with a lovely tea tray and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast offered homemade bread and a variety of options, while dinner was excellent, with highlights like locally sourced lamb and a delicious apple crumble. Service was friendly and accommodating to our dog.

The homemade bread served at dinner was a highlight. Breakfast options were satisfying, especially the full English. Staff were cute. Noise from the bar area was distracting late at night. Some decor looked worn out, needing a refresh. The food experience was great, but a quieter environment would have made it better.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

While the Sunday lunch had highlights, like perfectly cooked beef, cleanliness needs attention. Expect homemade stuffing for premium pricing. Check-in was delayed. Arrive punctually to avoid waiting. An improved breakfast service would elevate the experience. Potential exists with a few tweaks.

The decor was cozy with lovely countryside views. The room's tea tray was a good touch. Our dog was treated like royalty, and I can't forget the homemade bread served during dinner.

Showers could use a bit more power for a proper wash, and noise from doors banging and commotion may distract some light sleepers. The breakfast timing was a bit unclear, and options could be more varied, with no clear menu in sight. A couple of steep steps to the bathroom could pose a challenge for anyone not steady on their feet, and lighting in the room could be improved for nighttime reading. No food options available on Mondays means driving out if you're looking for dinner, which isn't ideal if you've had a few pints.

Cozy atmosphere with delicious homemade bread

I recently spent two nights and was impressed by the cozy decor and the fine countryside views. The room was clean and equipped with a good tea tray. My dog was treated like royalty, a lovely touch. The highlight was the homemade bread served during meals- divine!

The cozy dog-friendly atmosphere made us feel at home, though the steep bathroom step was a concern.

Great spot for families with pets

The king size bed was super comfy, and I even enjoyed the company at the bar where dogs are welcome.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still manageable.

Had a wonderful stay! The full English breakfast was freshly cooked and honestly the best I've had. Loved the homemade bread! The views from our room were lovely, a highlight.

A Charming Escape with Really good Service!

Staying here was a good surprise! The warm hospitality. I relished the delicious evening meal, expertly prepared with local ingredients. The fine views from the hotel added a magical touch. Don't miss the breakfast-it's freshly cooked to order!
